THE SUTTON (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (NO. 4) (AMENDMENT NO. 29) ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that, the Council of the London Borough of Sutton, made the above-mentioned Order on Monday, 15th August 2000, under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The principal objectives of this Order are to provide for disabled persons: (a) a parking facility where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult; and (b) a parking facility in a local shopping area where parking regularly occurs making reasonable means of access difficult. The general effect of this Order will be: (i) to provide a parking place in which only vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge may park in the following locations: (a) outside No. 10 Alexandra Avenue, to operate at all times; (b) outside Nos. 1-20 Alexandra Gardens, Stanley Road, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (c) outside No. 135 Brocks Drive, North Cheam, to operate at all times; (d) outside No. 215 Green Lane, Morden, to operate at all times; (e) outside No. 310 Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, (fully on footway) to operate at all times; (f) outside No. 147 Grove Lane, Coulsdon, to operate at all times; (g) outside No. 45 Hackbridge Road, Hackbridge, to operate at all times; (h) outside No. 25 Hampton Road, Worcester Park, to operate at all times; (i) outside No. 41 Hillview Road, Sutton, to operate at all times; (j) outside No. 1 Longlands Avenue, Coulsdon, to operate at all times; (k) outside No. 30 Lymington Court, All Saints Road, Sutton, to operate at all times; (l) outside No. 24 Richmond Road, Beddington, (partly on the footway) to operate at all times; (m) outside No. 25 Tavistock Walk, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (n) outside No. 134 The Chase, Wallington, to operate at all times; (o) outside No. 13-23 The Mount, Coulsdon, to operate at all times; (p) outside Nos. 7-12 Warner Court, Warner Avenue, North Cheam, to operate at all times; and (q) outside No. 260 Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, to operate at all times; (ii) to revoke the disabled persons parking places from the following locations: (a) outside No. 39 Beauchamp Road, Sutton; (b) outside No. 100 Brocks Drive, North Cheam; (c) outside No. 165 Brocks Drive, North Cheam; (d) outside No. 14 Clarendon Road, Wallington; (e) outside No. 241 Green Lane, Morden; (f) outside No. 8 Lindores Road, Carshalton; (g) outside No. 59 Matlock Crescent, North Cheam; (h) outside No. 74 Mill Lane, Carshalton; and (i) outside No. 57 Reynolds Close, Carshalton. (iii) The proposed disabled persons parking bay outside No. 43 Selby Road is hereby withdrawn. A copy of the Order which will come into operation on Monday 21st August 2000, the council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and plans showing the location and effect of the restrictions may be examined at: Civic Offices, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday; and Environment and Leisure, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order, or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of this Act, or of any Instrument made under this Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
