Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 116 and Schedule 12 of the Highways Act 1980, an application will be made by Warrington Borough Council to the Magistrates Court sitting at The Court House, Arpley Street, Warrington, on Tuesday, 18th July 2000, at 10 a.m., for an Order authorising the stopping-up of the highway set out in the Schedule hereinafter contained on the grounds that the said highway is unnecessary. Schedule Description of Highway to be stopped up All of that highway known as part of Blenheim Close fronting former house No. 156 Blenheim Close in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of 114 metres to outside former property No. 147 Blenheim Close, then in a generally northerly direction at the gable of the former house No. 178 Blenheim Close for approximately 16 metres, terminating at the northern gable of former house No. 180 Blenheim Close, Warrington, which is shown coloured red on the plan deposited at the Town Hall, Sankey Street, Warrington, Cheshire, and open to inspection there, free of charge, at all reasonable times.
