NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO STOP UP HIGHWAY CLARKSON ROAD, CANNING TOWN, LONDON E.16
Notice is given that the Council of the London Borough of Newham, being the highway authority, intends to make application to Magistrates’ sitting at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, 389-397 High Street, Stratford, London E.15, on Tuesday, 25th January 2000, at 10 a.m., for an Order, under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, that an unnamed service road designated as highway to the rear of Swanscombe Point in the vicinity of Clarkson Road, London E.16, be stopped up on the ground that it is unnecessary. The effect of the said Order is shown on a drawing which may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Council at Canning Town Library, Barking Road, Canning Town E16 4HQ, and Newham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, London E6 2RP, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays (except Saturdays and Bank Holidays).
