THE MERTON (CONTROLLED ZONE) (PARKING PLACES) (NO. ) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effects of the Order will be: (a) to introduce pay and display bays in the roads identified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. Nothing in the Order will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform. A copy of the proposed Orders, a plan identifying the area affected by the proposed Order, can be inspected during the Council’s normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays until 4th November 1999, at the main reception, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Order should send a statement in writing and the grounds thereof, if an objection to the Environmental Services Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey SM4 5DX, quoting Ref. Schedule 1 Pay and Display 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m Mondays to Saturdays any such day not being Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday. 5 Hours Maximum. 10p per 20 minutes. Quicks Road, north-side, from a point 6 metres west of the western arm of Wycliffe Road to a point 3 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 83-84 Quicks Road. Wycliffe Road, the east side, from a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Quicks Road, to a point 1.5 metres north of the southern boundary of No. 1 Wycliffe Road. Wycliffe Road, the east side, from a point 5 metres south of the southern kerb-line of South Park Road, to a point 5 metres north of the common boundary of No. 193 South Park Road and No. 55 Wycliffe Road. Wycliffe Road, the west side, from a point 5 metres south of the southern kerb-line of South Park Road, to a point 1.5 metres north of the southern boundary of No. 191 South Park Road. 14th October 1999.
