NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PROPOSALS FOR A LOCAL PLAN BLYTH VALLEY DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN

Notice is hereby given that, on 6th May 1999, Blyth Valley Borough Council adopted these plan proposals without any further modifications (over and above the proposed modifications and additional proposed modifications, notice for which was previously given by local advertisement). The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for Blyth Valley. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the Planning and Development Department, Council Offices, Seaton Delaval, Northumberland NE25 0DX, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Copies of the updated written statement can also be viewed at the Civic Centre, Renwick Road, Blyth, during the above opening hours and at the following libraries during their normal opening hours, Blyth Library, Bridge Street, Blyth; Cramlington Library, Forum Way, Cramlington; Cowpen Library, Tynedale Drive, Blyth; Newsham Library, Warwick Street, Blyth; South Beach Library, Fulmar Drive, Blyth; Seaton Sluice Library, Community Centre, Seaton Sluice; Seaton Delaval Library, Elsdon Avenue, Seaton Delaval. The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 6th May 1999, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
