NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 13

FULL APPLICATION FOR THE ERECTION OF 25 WIND TURBINES AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING TRANSFORMERS, UPGRADING OF EXISTING ACCESS TRACKS, CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ACCESS TRACKS, CONSTRUCTION OF A TEMPORARY SITE COMPOUND AND A NEW ON SITE SUB-STATION INCLUDING CONTROL BUILDING AND ERECTION OF ONE METEOROLGY MAST AT MARGREE, NEAR HOLMHEAD, ST. JOHN’S TOWN OF DALRY, CASTLE DOUGLAS (06/P/20391)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that an Environmental Statement has been submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council by North British Windpower Ltd relating to the following planning application:

Full application for erection of 25 wind turbines and associated infrastructure including access tracks, sub-station, anemometer mast and temporary construction compound Margree, Near Holmhead, St. John’s Town of Dalry, Castle Douglas.

A copy of the Environmental Statement and the associated planning application may be inspected during normal office hours at Council Offices, 4 Market Street, Castle Douglas. Copies are also available for inspection during normal business hours at Dumfries and Galloway Council, Kirkbank, English Street, Dumfries; Post Office, 22A Main Street, St. John’s Town of Dalry, Castle Douglas; Post Office, High Street, New Galloway, Castle Douglas; Pringles Bar & Post Office, Corsock, Castle Douglas; Post Office and Store, Balmaclellan, Castle Douglas; Post Office, High Street, Moniaive.

Copies of the Environmental Statement may be purchased from North British Windpower Limited, Lochside House, 3 Lochside Way, Edinburgh park, Edinburgh, EH12 9DT, tel. 0131 452 2018 at a cost of £200 (for a hard copy including figures and appendices) or £20 for a CD-ROM.

Any person who wishes to make a representation to Dumfries & Galloway Council about the Environmental Statement should make them in writing to the Operations Manager, Development Control, Dumfries and Galloway Council, at 4 Castle Street, Castle Douglas, Dumfries & Galloway, DG7 1BE within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice.
