POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Armstrong Waste Management Ltd in respect of activities being carried out, namely Landfill of Waste in an installation at Auchenlosh Landfill Site, Dalbeattie, Dumfries & Galloway DG5 4PF.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP and by prior arrangement at SEPA, Penkiln Bridge Court, Minnigaff, Newton Stewart DG8 6AA, telephone number 01671 402618 during normal office hours. Please quote reference number PPC/A/1000151. Additionally, a copy of the application may be inspected at The Public Library, 23 High Street, Dalbeattie.

Written representation concerning this application may be made to SEPA at the above addresses, or sent to e-mail address ppc.applications@sepa.org.uk, and if received within 28 days of this notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such request.
