ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984

(LAIRD STREET TO ST COlUMBA GARDENS FOOTPATH, DUNDEE) (STOPPING-UP) ORDER 2003

Notice is hereby given that Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under section 68(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to stop up the length of road between its junction with Laird Street and St Columba Gardens, Dundee described in the Schedule hereto.

The title of the Order is “Dundee City Council (Brackens/Macalpine Primary School) (Laird Street to St Columba Gardens, Footpath, Dundee) (Stopping Up) Order 2003”.

A copy of the proposed Order and the accompanying plan showing the length of road to be stopped up, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order will be available for inspection free of charge during normal office hours from 25th November 2003 to 25th December 2003, both dates inclusive at the following address:

 Dundee City Council Offices, Reception, Floor 4, 21 City Square, Dundee.

Any person may within 28 days from 25th November 2003 object to the making of the Order by notice in writing to the Director of Support Services. Dundee City Council. 21 City Square, Dundee. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

Length of Road in the City of Dundee

The entire length and width of the footpath between its junction with Laird Street at a point 210 metres or thereby eastwards from St Clement Place and its junction with St Columba Gardens at a point 145 metres or thereby eastwards from St Clement Place.
