Notice is hereby given that United Kingdom Civil Service Benefit Society Limited, Register No. 681F, whose registered office is at UK House, 82 Heath Road, Twickenham, Middlesex TW1 4BA desires to transfer its engagements to Homeowners Friendly Society Limited, Register No. 964F, which is intended to take effect at midnight on 31 October 2003 and that the society has applied to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to confirm the transfer.

Notice is hereby given that Homeowners Friendly Society Limited, Register No. 964F, whose registered office is at Hornbeam Park Avenue, Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG2 8XE, desires to accept a transfer of engagements of the United Kingdom Civil Service Benefit Society Limited, Register No. 681F, which is intended to take effect at midnight on 31 October 2003.

Any interested party has the right to make written representations and/or give notice of intention to make oral representations to the FSA with respect to the application. The FSA has determined that any written representations or notice of a person’s intention to make oral representations must be received by the FSA before 29 September 2003. If notice is given of oral representations these will be heard by the FSA on 13 October 2003. Written representations or notice of intention to make oral representations should be sent to the FSA [ref: Richard Martin] at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
