Transfer of General Business

1.	Notice is hereby given that Vopak Logistics (Ireland) Limited applied to the Irish Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment on 15th July 2002 for its approval, pursuant to the Insurance Companies Act 1909 and the Insurance Acts 1936 - 1990 and Regulations and the European Communities (non-life insurance) Framework Regulations 1976 - 1994 to transfer to Vopak Risk Finance NV all of its rights and obligations under policies written by it in Europe between 23rd December 1991 and 1st January 2002 inclusive.
2.	Copies of the statements of particulars of the proposed transfer are available for inspection at the offices of Vopak Logistics Insurances (Ireland) Limited at 80 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2, Ireland and at the offices of Matheson Ormsby Prentice, Solicitors at Pinnacle House, 23/26 St. Dunstan’s Hill, London EC3R 8HN England from 9.00am to 5.00pm from Monday-Friday (public holidays excepted) until 8th November 2002.
3.	Written representations concerning the transfer may be sent to the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment, Earlsfort Centre, Lower Hatch Street, Dublin 2, Ireland before 8th November 2002. The Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment will not determine the application until after considering any representations made before that date.
