PARKING PLACES FOR DISABLED PERSONS’ VEHICLES

The Department for Regional Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No, 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012 (S.R. 2012 No. 56) which will come into operation on 12th March 2012.

The Rule creates parking places for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles at Ballymena : Drumtara, Ballee (2 bays); Belfast : Cavendish Street; Cliftonville Road; Cliftonville Street; Joanmount Park; Park Avenue; Bessbrook : Church Road; Carrickfergus : Rosebrook Grove; Salia Avenue; Castlewellan : Lower Square; Comber : Brownlow Street; Railway Street; Crossmaglen : North Street; Downpatrick : Ardmeen Green; Saul Street; Enniskillen : Irvines Crescent; Irvinestown : Castle Street; Lisburn : Gregg Street Mews; Newry : Barrack Street; Newtownards : Blenheim Drive; Lenamore Park; Mark Street; Victoria Avenue; Saintfield : Main Street (2 bays); Warrenpoint : The Square.; and adjusts the size of the parking places at Ballynahinch : Willow Park; Downpatrick : Saul Street; Saintfield : Downpatrick Street. ; and also the removal of the parking places at Belfast : My Lady’s Road; Nevis Avenue; New Lodge Road; Donaghadee : William Street; Islandmagee : Ballystrudder Gardens; Kilkeel : Harbour Road; Killyleagh : Irish Street; Larne : Glynn Road; Newtownards : William Street; and Warrenpoint : Thomas Street.
