Notice Under Article 8(6) of the Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996; as amended by the Energy (Northern Ireland) Order 2003

In pursuance of its powers under Article 8(1) of the Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 (hereafter referred to as the “Order”), The Northern Ireland Authority for Energy Regulation (hereafter referred to as the “Authority”), having obtained the consent of the Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment, hereby gives notice of the following:

1.	On the 24 March 2005, the Authority granted to Bord Gais Eireann a licence for the supply of gas in areas along the route of the North West and South North pipelines.
2.	Also on the 24 March 2005, the Authority granted to Bord Gais Eireann a licence for the conveyance of gas in the same areas.

The licence is available on the Ofreg web site

http://ofreg.nics.gov.uk or from Ofreg’s offices at 42 Fountain Street Belfast BT1 5EE. A small fee is payable for paper copies of licences, this is to cover paper and postage.
