APPOINTING TUESDAY, 28th DECEMBER 2004, MONDAY, 3rd JANUARY 2005 AND MONDAY, 2nd MAY 2005 AS BANK HOLIDAYS IN ENGLAND, WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND.

Whereas We consider it desirable that Tuesday, the twenty-eighth day of December in the year 2004, and Monday, the third day of January and Monday, the second day of May in the year 2005 should be bank holidays in England, Wales and Northern Ireland:

Now, therefore, We, in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-eighth day of December in the year 2004, and Monday, the third day of January and Monday, the second day of May in the year 2005, to be bank holidays in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Given at Our Court at Buckingham Palace this Tenth day of June in the year of our Lord two thousand and four in the fifty-third year of Our Reign.
