1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of proposes to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended:

2. The general effect of order will be to introduce:-

(a) School Street Zone SS31 – Alexandra Primary School: Timed pedestrian and cycle zones in which motor vehicles, except for buses and those issued a permit would be prohibited from entering, Mon-Fri 8.00-9.00am 2.45-3.45pm during school term times and when the appropriate signs are on display on the following road:

Western Road N22 From its junction with Mayes Road to Alexandra Primary School vehicle entrance located approximately 175 metres from its junction with Mayes Road.

Those eligible for permits include properties and residents of Decorium, 22 Western Road, Medical practitioners attending those residing in the zone, disabled badge holders who reside outside the zone but require essential access and school buses and vehicles used in the transport of children and adults with special access needs in relation to Alexandra Primary School within the zone. All vehicles will be allowed to exit the zone whilst it is in operation.

i) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the both sides of Coburg Road N22 from its junction with Western Road for 8 metres.

ii) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the east side of Western Road N22 (adjacent to No.75/77 Coburg Road) from its junction with Coburg Road south east for 7.5 metres.

iii) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the east side of Western Road N22 from its junction with Coburg Road, north west up to the pedestrian crossing zigzag markings outside Alexandra Primary School.

iv) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the west side of Western Road N22 from the electricity sub station adjacent to Western Recycling Centre, north west up to the pedestrian crossing zigzag markings outside Alexandra Primary School.

v) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the west side of Western Road N22 between the shared use bays with location no. 34226.

(b) School Street Zone SS32 – St Pauls RC Primary School: Timed pedestrian and cycle zones in which motor vehicles, except for those issued a permit would be prohibited from entering, Mon-Fri 8.15-9.00am 2.45-3.30pm during school term times and when the appropriate signs are on display on the following road:

Bradley Road N22 From its junction with Station Road for its entire length.

Those eligible for permits include properties and residents of No.4 – No.23 Bradley Road (all), Sylvia Lawla Court (all), No.64 to No.90 Station Road (even), St Pauls RC Church, Medical practitioners attending those residing in the zone, disabled badge holders who reside outside the zone but require essential access and school buses and vehicles used in the transport of children and adults with special access needs in relation to St Pauls RC Primary School within the zone. All vehicles will be allowed to exit the zone whilst it is in operation.

i) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the both sides of Bradley Road N22 from its junction with Station Road for 8.04 metres.

ii) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on the north side of Station Road N22 either side of Bradley Road for 8 metres.

iii) To relocate the disabled parking bay on the west side of Bradley Road N22 adjacent to No.64 Station Road to a point on the opposite side of the road outside Sylvia Lawla Court. This will replace the existing residents permit parking bay. A rainwater garden will be installed in the original location of the disabled bay with double yellow lines/double kerb blips, a length of 8.6 metres.

iv) To replace the existing single yellow line with double yellow lines/double kerb blips on the east side of Bradley Road N22 outside Sylvia Lawla Court, a length of 2.4 metres.

(c) School Street Zone SS33 – Noel Park Primary School: Timed pedestrian and cycle zones in which motor vehicles, except for those issued a permit would be prohibited from entering, Mon-Fri 8.15-9.00am 2.30-3.45pm during school term times and when the appropriate signs are on display on the following road:

Ashley Crescent N22 From its junction with the northern kerbline of Lymington Avenue to its junction with Gladstone Avenue.
Gladstone Avenue N22 From its junction with Salisbury Road to a point outside the shared property boundary No.71/73 Gladstone Avenue.
Lymington Avenue N22 From its junction with the eastern kerbline of Ashley Crescent to its junction with Salisbury Road.
Vincent Road N22 From its junction with the southern kerbline of Farrant Avenue to its junction with Gladstone Avenue.

Those eligible for permits include properties and residents of 36 - 44 Vincent Road (Evens), 41 - 49 Vincent Road (Odd), 67 - 173 Gladstone Avenue (Odd), 92 - 146 Gladstone Avenue (Evens), 35 - 101 Lymington Avenue (Odd), 58 - 170 Lymington Avenue (Evens), St Marks Church, Noel Park, N22 6LJ Medical practitioners attending those residing in the zone, disabled badge holders who reside outside the zone but require essential access and school buses and vehicles used in the transport of children and adults with special access needs in relation to Noel Park Primary School within the zone. All vehicles will be allowed to exit the zone whilst it is in operation.

i) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on both sides of Gladstone Avenue N22 outside and opposite No.73 Gladstone Avenue for 8 metres.

ii) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on north west side of Gladstone Avenue N22 outside No.95 to No.99 (inclusive).

iii) The school keep clear markings and single yellow line on the south east side of Gladstone Avenue N22 will be relocated to commence at the junction with Vincent Road to a point opposite No.117.

iv) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on north west side of Gladstone Avenue N22 outside No.115 to No.121.

v) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on south east side of Gladstone Avenue N22 outside No.92 to No.96.

vi) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on both sides of Gladstone Avenue N22 from its junction with Salisbury Road for 9 metres.

vii) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on both sides of Lymington Avenue N22 from its junction with Salisbury Road for 9 metres.

viii) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on both sides of Ashley Crescent N22 from its junction with the northern kerb of Lymington Avenue, north for 11 metres.

ix) To prevent loading at any time by introducing double kerb blips on both sides of Lymington Avenue N22 from its junction with Ashley Crescent for 6 metres.

x) To extend the footway on south east side of Lymington Avenue N22 outside No.58 to No.64 (inclusive) Lymington Avenue. The double yellow lines will be retained.

xi) To extend the footway on north west side of Lymington Avenue N22 opposite No.58 to No.66 (inclusive) Lymington Avenue. The double yellow lines will be retained.

xii) To replace the single yellow line with double yellow line/double kerb blips on the south east side of Lymington Avenue N22 outside No.80 to No.90 Lymington Avenue.

xiii) To replace the single yellow line with double yellow line/double kerb blips on the north west side of Lymington Avenue N22 opposite No.80 to No.86.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 4th floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting reference 2023-T14, by 26th July 2023.
