1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 22nd January 2021 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be as follows;
a) Curtain Road; replace 19.2 metres of shared use parking bay outside Nos. 7 to 9 Curtain Road with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.
b) Christie Road; replace the permit bay outside Nos. 4 to 6 Christie Road with a 10 metre personalised permit bay.
c) Median Road; replace the doctor’s permit bay outside No. 28 Median Road with a shared use parking bay.
d) Rowley Gardens; Introduce ‘at any time’ loading restrictions on the north-eastern side of Rowley Gardens.
e) Sedgwick Street; Replace the shared use bays outside 14 to 24 Sedgwick Street with permit parking bays.
f) Smalley Close, Smalley Road Estate; Replace the disabled bays outside Nos. 13-15 and 23 Smalley Close with estate permit parking bays.
g) Walford Road; Replace the permit bay outside No. 85 Walford Road with a personalised permit bay.
h) Woodberry Down Estate, Kinver House; Reduce the length of the estate permit bay by 0.9 metres.
i) Personalised bays - Various Roads; Change the existing disabled bays to personalised bays at the various locations listed in the table below;

j) Various roads; Amend the traffic orders to ensure that this matches the on-street restrictions on the following roads:
i. Amhurst Road; remove no returns from all shared use bays outside Nos. 48 to 70.
ii. Brooksbank Street; remove no returns from all shared use bays.
iii. Clissold Crescent; remove no returns from the Pay and Display bays outside Medway House.
iv. Mare Street; remove no returns from shared use bays outside Nos. 235 to 257.
v. Penpoll Road; remove no returns from shared use outside No. 16 Penpoll Road.
vi. Reading Lane; remove no returns from shared use bays.
vii. Royal Oak Road; remove no returns from all shared use bays on Royal Oak Road.
viii. Sheep Lane, shared use bays between junction of Ada Street and Jackman Street to be replaced with permit parking bay.
ix. Smalley Close outside Nos. 18 and 24; correct disabled bay location.
x. Statham Grove; remove no returns from all shared use bays on Statham Grove
xi. Terrace Road; remove no returns from all shared use bays.
xii. Well Street; remove no returns from shared use bays between junctions of Elsdale Street and Morning Lane
xiii. Wilman Grove outside Gayhurst Primary School; correct cycle hangar location.
xiv. Wilton Way; remove no returns from all shared use bays on Wilton Way.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 1st February 2021, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made. Currently such documents can only be requested for inspection by email request made to streetworks@hackney.gov.uk and quoting the above TT reference number.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
