LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

THE BARNET (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. **) TRAFFIC ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Section 84 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to address concerns about speeding, and improve general road safety in the vicinity of Cromer Road Primary School, the general effect of the Speed Limit Order would be to introduce a maximum speed limit of 20mph in the streets or length of streets specified below:

(a) Cromer Road EN5 - between its junctions with Potters Road and Shaftsbury Avenue

(b) Shaftsbury Avenue EN5

(c) Bulwer Road EN5 - between its junctions with Potters Road/Plantagenet Road and Lytton Road

A copy of the proposed Order and Notice, associated drawing of the relevant area and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:

a) Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW

b) Reception, Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order, or comment on the proposals should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number BC/001640-01-02-CN-01/SCR310, to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, or via email to traffic.consultations@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
