TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2017

CONSTRUCTION OF NEW EAST QUAY INCLUDING DREDGING AND PILING, AND THE FORMATION OF LAYDOWN AREA FOR HANDLING AND TEMPORARY STORAGE OF NORTH SEA OIL RELATED AND RENEWABLE ENERGY COMPONENTS AT LAND 230M WEST OF NIGG FERRY HOTEL NIGG

The Council has received an application from Global Energy Nigg Ltd on land at Land 230M West of Nigg Ferry Hotel Nigg. The application is development falling within the Regulations as Environmental Impact Assessment development and accordingly is supported by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report. The application reference number is (19/02777/FUL).

The application and the accompanying Environmental Impact Assessment Report are available for public inspection between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the following locations –

1. Area Planning & Building Standards Office, Drummuie, Golspie, KW10 6TA

2. Tain Service Point, 24 High Street, Tain, IV19 1AE

3. Cromarty Library, Hugh Miller Institute, 51 Church Street, Cromarty, IV11 8XA

Printed copies of the complete Environmental Statement can be purchased from Rory Gunn, Facilities Director, Global Energy Nigg Ltd., Nigg Energy Park, Nigg, Tain, IV19 1QU at a cost of £500. The Non Technical Summary and Electronic copies can be obtained free of charge, DVD can be obtained for £10.

The deadline for receipt of comments is 28 days from the date of publication of this notice.

The Council will acknowledge receipt of comments but is unable to respond individually to points or questions raised. Please note that your comments will be published online. Please quote the application reference number in your correspondence.
