Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce;

1. Payment Parking Places Monday to Saturday 8:00am - 6:30pm, Max Stay 4 hours no return within 2 hours Tariff TC2 (Tariff TC2 details are outlined in Schedule 1), at the following Shopping Parades; Rainham Road South Shopping Parade A, Rainham Road South Shopping Parade B (Also known as Beadles Parade), Reede Road, Rose Lane, Heath Park (Stansgate Road), Andrews Corner (Becontree Avenue), Whalebone Lane South, Lodge Avenue, Farr Avenue/Bastable Avenue, Chelmer Crescent and Wood Lane.

2. ‘Disabled Blue Badge Holders Only’ bays at the following Shopping Parades; Rainham Road South Shopping Parade A, Rainham Road South Shopping Parade B (Also known as Beadles Parade), Reede Road, Rose Lane, Heath Park (Stansgate Road), Andrews Corner (Becontree Avenue), Whalebone Lane South, Chelmer Crescent and Wood Lane.

3. ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions at the following Shopping Parades; Heath Park (Stansgate Road) and Chelmer Crescent.

4. “No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm” restrictions, at the following Shopping Parades; Rainham Road South Shopping Parade A and Rainham Road South Shopping Parade B (Also known as Beadles Parade).

5. The detailed proposals for the Shopping Parade locations are outlined in Schedule 2.

Copies of the draft Order together with plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing this Order are available for inspection at the Planning Application desk, Town Hall, Barking between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
